01Customer IAM for a bank merger

The challenge. Move EQ Bank’s customer identity platform from HID to Okta and roll out passwordless authentication, while EQ Bank and PC Financial converge into one app, with zero lockouts.

On the CIAM team I built FIDO2 passkey authentication on iOS (WebAuthn through AuthenticationServices, bound to the app with Associated Domains), and OAuth 2.0 session management on the Okta iOS SDK: tokens held in the Keychain, refreshed silently, and sender‑constrained with DPoP so a stolen token can’t be replayed. Then I traced the sign‑in and launch critical path with Instruments and removed the slow calls.

The result. Phishing‑resistant, faster authentication at bank scale, and the bank decommissioned third‑party services it no longer needed.

02Production AI agents at Praxis

The challenge. Put LLM voice agents on live phone lines for dental practices: hold a real‑time conversation, read and write appointments in each practice’s own practice‑management system, and stay inside HIPAA, with protected health information under a business associate agreement.

For a dental marketing company I architected and shipped Praxis: real‑time voice agents with LLM tool calling over telephony, a scheduling layer that validates every slot before it books, read/write integrations with the practices’ systems, and agents for reputation, search visibility, call coaching and owner reporting. Every call is evaluated on what the agent actually did, not on a demo.

The result. Lower operating costs and more clients for the company. It started as a project and became a partnership.

03Connected‑vehicle charging at Ford

The challenge. Shift when EV owners charge to off‑peak hours without making them think about it, and prove whether they actually adopt it.

At Avanade I built the iOS side of scheduled and manual charging in the FordPass app, against Ford’s connected‑vehicle services, and the analytics behind it: how many vehicles were enrolled and how many owners chose automatic over manual charging.

The result. Owners who opted in charged off‑peak, and Ford had measured adoption across its EV owners.

04Founder of Leyoxa

The challenge. A field I’m learning from scratch: electrical commissioning, where every connection in a data center has to be proven against NETA acceptance standards before it’s energized, and the crews who check them are scarce.

At Leyoxa I’m building Leyoxa Verify: it parses test‑set results and flags peer outliers that still pass the limit, checks labels and torque marks against the one‑line diagram with computer vision, and catches hot joints with thermal imaging under first load. Before that I built Smile Link, an end‑to‑end encrypted iPhone app for patients and their dental practice.

05Waterloo engineer

I studied Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo. I led Watonomous, the university’s autonomous driving team, and co‑founded SeedCI, which used unsupervised clustering to detect cyber‑attack campaigns in security‑operations data without labelled attacks. Co‑op put me on real products early: medical devices at Aterica, the PokerStars apps at Stars Technologies, fleet tracking at Fleet Complete.

06Flamenco guitarist

I took flamenco guitar far enough to win first place at the Javan Music Festival, placed fourth in the Persian Young Physicists Tournament, and play tennis and basketball most weeks. When I build something just for fun, it looks like Moon Base: a real‑physics lunar drone you can fly yourself, or hand to an AI.
